British Shows Fan

On a vacation to the United States I got myself an Iplayer abroad subscription. I prefer to watch shows from Britain because shows from the US don’t quite appeal to me. I guess I’m just used to watching Britain shows and I understand the stories much better. I do like a few shows from the US like House and CSI but nothing beats any shows from Britain. My new American friends were puzzled as to why I keep watching those shows. I just tell them that they wouldn’t understand because they haven’t been born and grew up there. Just when I was about to end my three weeks’ vacation, my subscription expired. So every night I would search for free downloads of my favorite shows. It felt like I was having withdrawal syndrome from British shows. When I got home a few days later, I called friends and neighbors if by any chance they have taped the previous episodes of my show. Luckily, most of them did and I was able to watch the episodes that I missed.

Government Health Visitors

Feedback from mums has shown that advice given to them about breast feeding, toilet training and other ways of raising children, is very inconsistent. It is inconsistent between health visitors and inconsistent with mid wives. This adds to confusion as to how to raise one’s children. And is difficult for mums to know what is the best choice for their children. This makes the experience of parenting pretty stressful and means that stress management Sheffield may be useful in this case. Mums also have the addition of getting little sleep and being there to the demands (unconditional demands) of their children. This is when different debates arise. Do the mums impose a strict routine with the children or do they pamper to every needs of the child. Spare the rod and spoil the child is the phrase that used to be mentioned lots of times, the question is when does not spoiling a child mean that the child is just being loved?
